ABOUT

Calya Provenza
A Sanctuary of Stillness in the Heart of Movement
Calya Provenza represents a groundbreaking vision in boutique hospitality, marking the international debut of MOYA Design in Medellín's prestigious Provenza district—recognized by Time Out as one of the "33 Coolest Streets in the World." This inaugural project by MOYA Development transcends traditional hospitality boundaries, creating an intentional sanctuary where design, wellness, and Colombian craftsmanship unite in perfect harmony.
Rooted deeply in Medellín's dynamic soul, Calya Provenza embodies a philosophy of purposeful luxury that honors place, people, and presence. Every architectural element and interior detail reflects a profound respect for Colombian culture, featuring locally sourced materials, partnerships with regional artisans, and finishes that bring authentic warmth to each carefully curated space.
The property's six private suites function as calming sanctuaries, each thoughtfully designed with modern amenities including full kitchens, laundry facilities, and dedicated workspaces. These intimate retreats are complemented by flowing shared spaces that foster genuine connection and ease, creating a rhythm that honors both solitude and community.
The lobby serves as the project's beating heart—an open, flowing space that mirrors the city's vibrant energy while providing a haven for rest, interaction, and inspiration. Natural materials and soft finishes create an atmosphere of quiet elegance, where moments unfold with grace and guests find respite from everyday demands.
Calya's comprehensive brand identity, developed by MOYA Creative, semlessly integrates visual storytelling with spatial experience. From the carefully crafted logo and muted color palette to the tactile textures and refined typography, every element expresses the brand's core values of softness, depth, and thoughtful design.
This project demonstrates how boutique hospitality can authentically celebrate local culture while meeting contemporary travelers' evolving needs. Calya Provenza stands as a testament to the transformative power of intentional design—proving that luxury lies not in excess, but in the artful curation of meaningful experiences that reconnect guests with themselves and their surroundings.
