ABOUT

Serving as the social centerpiece of the hotel, Lola 41 introduces a richer and more immersive expression of the overall design narrative. Within the restaurant itself, architecture, materials, and furnishings come together to create a sophisticated and moody dining environment defined by layers of texture, craftsmanship, and detail. Warm Portola Roman clay walls, rich wood paneling, and sculptural ceiling elements establish a tactile, enveloping backdrop, complemented by leather-stitched bronze table lamps, custom metal and marble sconces, and a bronze ceiling above the bar. An antique mirror back bar amplifies light and depth throughout the space, while T&G ceilings, bespoke barstools, clean-lined wood chairs, and plush velvet banquettes reflect a careful balance of proportion, comfort, and material refinement.

Beyond the restaurant, a hidden speakeasy concealed behind a custom ski wall transforms a familiar piece of Aspen culture into an unexpected architectural moment, reinforcing the project’s spirit of discovery.

A large, heated pergola extends the dining experience outdoors, with banquette seating and flexible arrangements for year-round engagement with Aspen’s natural surroundings. Layered lighting, rich textures, and a high-performance sound system enhance the spatial composition, resulting in a dynamic, intimate, and architecturally resolved environment that is both autonomous and seamlessly integrated with the hotel.

The Aspen location interprets the Lola brand through a site-specific lens, establishing its own distinct personality while maintaining a cohesive dialogue with the hotel. A dramatic Arteriors chandelier and a one-of-a-kind kid art installation anchor the dining area, creating visual intrigue and a sense of playful sophistication.

Rather than competing for attention, each architectural element works in harmony to support the restaurant's identity and the culinary program it serves. The interplay of light, texture, scale, and acoustics creates an atmosphere that shifts effortlessly from daytime gatherings to lively evening service. Designed with longevity in mind, Lola 41 offers a distinctive setting that feels enduring, authentic, and uniquely connected to its location, leaving a lasting impression through the quality of its design rather than excess.
