Yuxi Pullman Hotel is a luxurious five-star resort located in the mountains on the outskirts of Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, China. Spanning approximately 34,000 square meters, with a total construction area of about 60,000 square meters, the hotel seamlessly integrates with the mountainous terrain, drawing inspiration from the natural elements of the plateau water town.

Idea

The goal is clear: create a hotel harmonizing with nature, maximizing interior landscaping. The outdoor landscape water platform becomes the embodiment of function and beauty, depicting vibrant colors and adding an iconic memory point to the hotel. Traditional Chinese painting concepts infuse simplicity and elegance into the space.

Form

Connecting indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly, the project features a 360-degree circular water viewing platform, enriching the visual experience and fostering a connection with nature.

Function

The project integrates natural beauty through Chinese painting, sculpture, and materials. Using "water" as a connecting element seamlessly merges indoor and outdoor spaces, achieving a fusion of interior space with external natural scenery.

Differentiation

Despite challenges from mountainous terrain, the design prioritizes environmental conservation. Guest rooms are designed for ample light, using eco-friendly materials to minimize impact on nearby forests.
