ABOUT
Located in Guergou, Li County, western Sichuan, Zhuodi Kangqin Hotel is a modern Tibetan cultural hotel with a total area of 4,000 square me-ters and 38 guest rooms, adjacent to National Highway 317. Centered on Highway 317 and Tibetan culture, the hotel designs its space by drawing on Tibetan beliefs, nature worship and ethnic symbols, integrat-ing sacredness into the daily life and spiritual pursuits of the Tibetan people. A dim L-shaped passage creates a transition from the hustle and bustle to tranquility. The core colonnade space blends Western classical proportions with the divinity of Tibetan architecture, establish-ing a sacred sense of ritual through symmetrical order, while the layout extends from symmetry to asymmetry to balance spatial layers and visual rhythm. The sunken hearth area at the diagonal embodies hu-manistic warmth, and details such as prayer wheels and copper art decorations integrate sacredness with daily life. The top-floor bar ech-oes the ground-floor design through grid-like openings, embracing the mountain scenery and natural light. The semi-open space enhances the connection between nature and divinity with stone and wood materials and antique columns. The solemn sacredness of public spaces and the quiet comfort of guest rooms form a harmonious contrast, offering a Tibetan spiritual baptism along National Highway 317.
