MUSE Hotel Awards – Global Hospitality Awards 2026

ENTRY INFORMATION

Eligibility

The MUSE Hotel Awards is open to hoteliers, hotel developers and builders, interior designers, architects, public relations firms, advertising agencies, travel agencies, and professionals directly or indirectly related to the hospitality industry. Hotels that are undergoing development can also be entered at any stage of construction if planning approval has been granted. Companies may submit single or multiple entries in any category.

Requirements

Entry Brief:
It is recommended that you keep your synopsis to approximately 350 words. The brief should strengthen your entry, as well as providing the jury a better understanding of your project. A written translation or adaptation must accompany non-English entries.

Image Submission:
The submissions should be saved in a flattened JPEG or JPG format. (keep them under 4MB, 1,200px wide is preferable, 300dpi, RGB).

Video / Audio Submission:
Entries with audio/video must be submitted with a direct URL that will take judges directly to the work:
1. Upload video/audio to Vimeo/YouTube/Youku.
2. Paste the URL link into the URL field.

Winning Levels

There are FOUR (4) levels of achievement in the MUSE Hotel Awards:

Category Winner of the Year

Platinum MUSE (85-100 points)

Gold MUSE (70-84 points)

Silver MUSE (50-69 points)

The number of awards that will be presented by MUSE Hotel Awards is determined by the number of submissions in a given category, the scoring range and the number of tie scores.

Judging Criteria

Our esteemed panel of judges consists of industry veterans with years of cumulative experience and have contributed to many innovations of the hospitality industry. This collective of individuals evaluate, select, and reward all aspects of what makes a truly one-of-a-kind hotel in terms of hotel and hospitality design.

Judging is blind and all entrant information is removed from entries to prevent bias and/or conflict of interest for a fair evaluation. Judges will score from a scale of 1-100 based on the following criteria:

To ensure a comprehensive evaluation, entrants are required to provide the following materials through the online submission system.

Entry Description (Required)

Provide a concise overview of the hotel, resort, hospitality project, or design initiative (up to 350 words). The description should highlight the property's concept, achievements, guest experience, unique features, and key differentiators relevant to the selected category.

Images (Required)

Submit 1–10 high-resolution images that best represent the property, project, experience, or design. Images should be in JPEG or PNG format and no larger than 4MB each.

Supporting Materials (Optional)

Additional materials such as videos, presentations, floor plans, brochures, case studies, press coverage, or other relevant documentation may be submitted to support the entry where applicable. All materials must be uploaded through the online entry system before the submission deadline.

Recognizing a hotel, resort, or hospitality property that exemplifies excellence in guest experience, innovation, service initiatives, brand distinction, and overall achievement.

Design of the Year

Recognizing a hospitality design project that demonstrates exceptional creativity, functionality, innovation, and impact in architecture or interior design.

The originality, creativity, and distinctive qualities that set the property, project, or hospitality initiative apart from industry competitors.

Overall Impact

The significance of the achievements presented, including operational success, guest engagement, market positioning, brand advancement, sustainability efforts, or contributions to the hospitality industry.

Hospitality Design Categories

Hospitality design entries are evaluated based on the quality of the submitted materials, including project descriptions, photography, design narratives, visual presentations, and supporting documentation.

The international jury assesses each project's creativity, functionality, innovation, guest experience considerations, and overall contribution to hospitality design excellence.

Design Excellence

The overall quality, creativity, and execution of the hospitality design project.

Guest Experience

The effectiveness of the design in enhancing comfort, engagement, and memorable guest experiences.

Innovation

The originality and forward-thinking approach demonstrated through the design solution.

Brand & Sense of Place

The ability of the project to communicate identity, atmosphere, and destination character.
